Jimmy Carr

Jimmy Carr is an award-winning comedian, writer and television host.

Among the most-respected and best-loved comedians working in Britain today, Jimmy is one of the biggest selling live acts in UK comedy, consistently performing to sell-out crowds across the country and around the world. Jimmy is currently taking his Best Of, Ultimate Gold, Greatest Hits Tour around the world, following a UK tour that saw him perform the show to over 340,000 people.

His television credits include over 20 series as host of panel show 8 Out Of 10 Cats (as well as 15 series of spin-off 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown), over 11 years as host of Channel 4’s Big Fat Quiz Of The Year (and in 2016-2017 Channel 4’s Big Fat Quiz Of Everything), Roast Battle UK (Comedy Central), Your Face Or Mine (Comedy Central) and three appearances on The Royal Variety Performance. He has also regularly appeared on shows such as QI and A League Of Their Own, was one of the stars of Channel 4’s 10 O’Clock Live and has been a guest on chat shows such as The Jonathan Ross ShowGraham Norton and Alan Carr: Chatty Man.

A household name in the UK, Jimmy is also a rising star in the US, where his profile continues to grow. Jimmy has performed two Comedy Central Specials, has performed stand-up on The Tonight Show six times (with both Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno) and has also appeared on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien five times. He recently recorded his own Netflix panel show, entitled The Fix, with all episodes available to stream now.

Ryan Giggs

Ryan Giggs is quite simply a footballing great. An icon for Manchester United fans, his 963 appearances for the club are record breaking, and included 168 goals.  Choosing his native Wales to represent at international level, he secured 64 caps for his country, and is now the national manager.

Having spent his youth career with Manchester City, then on to Manchester United, he made his professional debut in 1990 and remained with the club, into his 40s, until finally calling time in 2014.  A brief spell period as interim manager at the club was followed by his appointment as Welsh Manager in 2018.

Ryan is football through and through, and has remained in the spotlight throughout his career, having achieved every club trophy possible throughout that time.

 

Kevin Bridges

Despite having not set foot in a comedy club before his first open mic spot in 2004, Kevin’s natural gift for comedy ensured he quickly became a regular at major comedy clubs up and down the country including The Comedy Store, The Stand, The Glee Club, and Jongleurs.
2005 saw Kevin reach the finals of every New Act competition, most notably Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny?
In 2006 Kevin performed his first full length solo show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, to a sold out audience and much critical acclaim. Moving into bigger venues every year, Kevin continued to sell out his hometown festival in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
As well as having a strong hometown following, Kevin has taken his style of observational, cutting edge comedy all over the globe. He has performed throughout Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, USA and Canada along with tours of the Far East and Middle East.
Kevin appeared on The World Stands Up and The Comedy Store (Comedy Central) which led to his first big TV break as a guest on the first series of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC1, which aired to over five million viewers. It led to Kevin being the fastest act to sell out all twenty-eight nights of his 2009 Edinburgh Festival run and adding a staggering fifteen extra shows, which also sold out! A favourite with the punters but also the critics, Kevin received fivestar reviews and a nomination for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer.

Rob Brydon

Rob Brydon first came to the public’s attention in 2000 with the shows Marion and Geoff and Human Remains, winning British Comedy Awards for both. Since then his comedy credits have included, I’m Alan Partridge, Little Britain, Live At The Apollo, Rob Brydon’s Annually Retentive, QI, The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year, Have I Got News For You, Gavin and Stacey, Rob Brydon’s Identity Crisis and Would I Lie To You? and many more.

He has also ben involved in numerous dramas and radio guest appearances and has also appeared as a guest on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, Parkinson, Richard and Judy, The ONE Show, The F Word, This Morning, Top Gear and The Paul O’Grady Show.
In 2009 alongside Ruth Jones, Robin Gibb and Sir Tom Jones, Rob reached number one in the charts with the single Islands In The Stream, in aid of Comic Relief. He also embarked on an eighty seven date tour of the UK with his stand up show, Rob Brydon Live, this included a three week run in London’s West End. Rob Brydon is certainly a man of many talents!

Jason Manford

He is an English writer, comedian, actor, radio and television presenter of Irish descent. He began his career in 1999, while working at the Buzz Comedy Club upstairs at the Southern Hotel in Chorlton, Manchester. Jason was collecting glasses when a performer didn’t arrive for an evening set, Jason, who was 17 at the time stepped in to fill the gap, an event which marked the beginning of his comedy career. Six gigs later he was crowned The City Life North West Comedian of the Year.
Jason hosted his own comedy variety show ‘Comedy Rocks’ on ITV1, won ‘Born to Shine’ with his amazing operatic skills, hosted comedy talent show ‘Show Me The Funny’ and hosted an episode of BBC1’s ‘Live at the Apollo’ to name but a few TV projects and his highly anticipated autobiography ‘Brung Up Proper’ was published in September 2011. Along with many, many more television and radio appearances.

Greg Davies

Greg Davies is perhaps best known as the psychotic Head of Sixth Form Mr. Gilbert in The Inbetweeners series’ and film. Greg uses his former career in teaching as a basis for much of his stand up comedy, which formulated into his debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, his delightful show ‘Firing Cheesballs At A Dog.’
Greg is also part of the three man anarchically brilliant sketch act We Are Klang, who performed four critically acclaimed sell-out Edinburgh Festival shows and were nominated in 2006 for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. With We Are Klang, Greg wrote and starred in the group’s own sitcom series and a one-off comedy entertainment special for BBC Three.

Katherine Ryan

Katherine Ryan is a Canadian/Irish, comedian, writer, presenter and actress, based in London, England, best known for her television roles.
She has appeared on British panel shows including Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 8 Out of 10 Cats, QI and Have I Got News For You. In 2015,
She won the Nivea Funny Women[5] Award, a comedy competition in the UK, and was runner-up in the Amused Moose Laugh-Off competition in 2008.
