Sir David Hempleman-Adams

Sir David Hempleman-Adams MBE OBE is a leading British Adventurer.  He is an accomplished mountaineer,  having climbed the seven highest peaks of the seven continents, i.e. Everest (Nepal), Mt Vinson (Antarctica), Aconcagua (Argentina), Carstenz Pyramid (Indonesia), Elbrus (Russia) and Kilimanjaro (Tanzania).

Without his motivational and team building skills… Sir David Hempleman-Adams would be dead!

Brian Blessed

Actor, Director and Explorer, Brian is instantly recognisable both physically and through speech!
Known for his thunderous voice, ebullient personality and imposing stature, Brian Blessed is one of Britain’s most highly regarded actors. Although generally cast in loud comedic and pantomime roles, such as Richard IV in Blackadder, Brian is a noted Shakespearean actor, and won the New York Critics Award for his portrayal of Caesar Augustus in the BBC series I Claudius.

Perry McCarthy

Perry combines his experience as a Formula One driver with becoming the original ‘Stig’ to delight audiences at home and abroad with either a hilarious after-dinner or captivating motivational speech. Perry literally clawed his way to the top with very little backing but, with talent, dedication, determination and that famous sense of humour he always gets everyone’s attention. The fact that he was the original ‘Stig’ has a crowd cheering before he’s even started talking!

Damon Hill OBE

Damon Hill OBE is a British former racing driver.   He was the 1996 Formula One World Champion and is the son of the late double Formula One world champion Graham Hill, the only son of a world champion to win the title.  Graham Hill died in a plane crash when Damon was just 15.

Relatively late to motorsport, Hill began racing motorcycles aged 23 before progressing into single-seater racing and the International Formula 3000 Championship.  Test driver for the Formula One title-winning Williams, Damon finally got his break when he was unexpectedly promoted into the Williams race team the year after 1992 champion Nigel Mansell’s departure.   Damon’s first victory came at the 1993 Hungarian Grand Prix, taking the first of his 22 career victories.

He retired from the sport at the end of the 1999 season, after 122 race starts.  Damon now works tirelessly for the British Racing Drivers’ Club and is endeavouring to retain the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.  He also spends a lot of time encouraging young drivers and assisting where possible in helping their future careers.

Damon discusses his rise to peak performance and the need to maximise success at any time during talks.  He is a  fabulous motorsport speaker,  relating well with audience members and providing an insight into what is needed in order to success in one of the most competitive environments in the sporting world.

Damon’s after dinner speeches consist of tales of living in the fast lane without losing self-discipline,  how to succeed and what is needed to be a champion along with amusing tales,  such as playing guitar on a Def Leppard album.

Sir Steve Redgrave

Having set out to win three Olympic Gold Medals at the beginning of his career, Steve went on to win an incredible five Golds in five successive Olympic Games from 1984 to 2000.
Since retiring The Steve Redgrave Fund forged its way beyond the £5million target that Steve set when launching the charity in 2001 and that total has continued to build since joining forces with Sport Relief.
In addition to maintaining a busy schedule as a motivational speaker, Steve is committed to ensuring the event provides a lasting legacy for sport in the future.

Ben Collins

Better known as The Stig from BBC’s internationally acclaimed Top Gear TV Show. Ben coached hundreds of celebrities from Tom Cruise to Lionel Ritchie around the race-track, organised high voltage car chases and tested hundreds of priceless cars to the brink. Ben holds many creditsto his name: As a Championship Winning Le Mans Racecar Driver, Bestselling Author, TV Presenter, World Record Breaker and Hollywood Stunt Driver.
As the Stig, Ben Collins was the benchmark of speed against which all other drivers set themselves, and the man that everyone from Formula One World Champion Nigel Mansell to Jenson Button tried and failed to beat. He has raced successfully in almost every class imaginable, from Formula 3 and Le Mans 24 Hour competition to American Stock Car Racing. Jackie Stewart watching a young Ben winning a Formula 3 race, was blown away.

Eddie Edwards

Eddie is the world’s favourite ski-jumper – came back to Britain several years ago after spending three years living and working in Lake Placid, New York State. His stories of how he became an unlikely superstar have had audiences in stitches on both sides of the Atlantic. A former plasterer, Eddie had to self fund his Olympics dream and endeared himself to the public after a series of less than competitive jumps left him in last place. Now a trained lawyer, he works as a sports agent.
Eddie was also recently crowned winner of the hit ITV show ‘Splash’ with Tom Daley.

Bonita Norris

Bonita has climbed the world’s highest mountains, including Mt Everest, and skied to the North pole. She has led teams on Kilimanjaro and is a champion for the great British outdoors, working alongside Ordnance Survey to inspire the nation to get outside.

Bonita has broken mountaineering records, and in 2012 became the third British woman to ever climb the world’s 4th highest peak, Mt Lhotse; considered a technically much more difficult climb than Everest.

Bonita is also one of the most sought after youth speakers in the UK, visiting over 80 schools in 2015 alone, and many hundreds over her 6 years as a motivational speaker. She is also a highly in demand corporate speaker and event host, and has spoken for world famous brands.

Bonita lives and breathes inspiring others to step outside their comfort zones, whether that be through the Get Outside campaign, her motivational talks, leading teams on Kilimanjaro or through her own extreme endeavours.

Debra Searle MBE

Having launched her second company, Shoal Projects Ltd. in 2002 she is now focused on building up work in the three major areas of adventures in collaboration with a sponsor, adventures for television/writing and adventure based motivational speaking. Debra works with organisations large and small (IBM, Lloyds TSB, Microsoft, Boots) to motivate and inspire their workforce.

Debra Searle is honest, open, warm, funny and friendly. She has a mental strength and determination that inspires and motivates all who meet her. When Debra’s rowing partner left her alone at sea the sceptics gave her two days tops.

Debra’s overwhelming positivity and ‘go for it’ attitude are contagious, while her modesty is endearing.

Ben Heason

Ben Heason is a professional climber, adventurer and coach and an experienced, highly-regarded motivational speaker.

Ben has had a passion for climbing and outdoor adventure from a very young age, including walking the Annapurna circuit in the Himalayas at the age of 4. By the age of 13 he had climbed the highest mountains in Greece, Morocco and Thailand.

Things got serious for Ben when he joined Birmingham University’s Mountaineering Club in 1994, which intensified his passion and obsession for climbing. Since then his ability has gone from strength to strength along with his interest and experience in both After Dinner and motivational speaking.

Ben is well-known for his free climbing… no hands!! He offers an insight into the exhilaration of the experience, for those too light hearted to free climb a mountain!
